Matthew 23:37-39
37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. 38 Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
Jesus Christ describes his love for Israel as a mother hen loves her brood. The chicks never go far from their mother, why? Because the mother is always watching out for danger. She always watches for the safety of her brood. She gathers her brood under her wings to protect them from all forms of danger. She makes loud noises, when she sees danger approaching. She would suffer herself against all kinds of weather, danger, attacks, fire and rain to protect her brood. Here Jesus likewise uses the love of the mother hen and makes a statement to Israel that His love is greater. Israel should have recognised Jesus as their messiah, the Lord sent his messengers to them many times, yet the killed and tortured them. Now the Lord presented himself to them and yet they still failed to see. For that reason desolation awaited them. Jerusalem was destroyed 40years later and left empty and desolate because they rejected the messiah for the lie. Likewise when a chick fails to heed its mothers call of protection, it is left desolate.
God has created A mothers love, fathers love and family love. For God is Love. His Son Is His Love.
Today billions of babies have been murdered via abortion. These babies who should have been protected in the mothers womb, as a hen protected her brood under her wings where butchered. Abortion stole away the word “mother” and replaces it with wicked self.
A shepherd holds a staff in one hand and a iron rod in the other. The wood hooked staff was to protect and nurture the lambs and lead them to safety. If they fell the Shepherd would lift them up to safety and guide them with the staff.
The iron rod was to protect the lambs from wolves and danger. From intruders!!!
The staff is the mother, the iron rod the father. Christ Jesus The Shepherd of All.
Yet abortion and abuse of children is when the man rejects his role and beats the child with the rod. Like a woman who instead of nurturing the child with the comfort of the staff, puts it down so the wolfs or intruders can come and kill the child.
The head covering of All is Jesus Christ. When a man who spends no time with his master and does not walk in the mind of Christ, he brings danger to his family. Families that pray and Grow in Yeshua stay together for eternity.
All those murdered children via abortion and abused children please hear what God Says!
Isaiah 49:15
“Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
GOD NEVER FORGETS. HE WILL COMFORT YOU ALL. TODAY YOU ARE IN HIS ARMS. YOU ARE UNDER HIS SHELTER. THOUGH THE WORLD REJECTED YOU. GOD NOW BESTOWS HIS PERFECT LOVE UPON YOU!!!
VOTV loves mothers who have gone the distance as a hen goes the distance. VOTV helps all those ladies who once murdered their child, but now understand what they did and tell the world how Jesus Christ washed and saved them.
THIS MOTHERS DAY WE URGE YOU TO LOVE YOUR MOTHER IN CHRIST JESUS. YES PAMPER HER, YES GIFT HER. BUT ABOVE ALL GIVE HER JESUS CHRIST. LOVE HER WITH THE PERFECT SON OF GOD!!!
I little story about my mother that makes me smile.
As a child I did karate for 3-4years. One day I decided not to go. So I got my kit and went to the park instead. Hour later I was walking home and as I approached my house a saw my mother. So I acted tired making out I had a tough class. But my mother knew I didn’t go, and she combined all forms of material arts and taught me a lesson that I have never forgotten. Some serious chops landed on my head. I wish I went to the class instead.
Mothers, what a joy. What a gift from God. Especially those who love their children as the as Lord Loves His church.
